Tarot Code of Ethics

  • I will empower my clients to make their own choices and decisions. I will give my client knowledge and with their free will, they can make informed decisions in regards to their personal path. The tarot reading is about the client, and is meant to simply be a guide to assist the client in their decision making process.
  • In regards to reading about the future. A tarot reading is not meant for telling the future. Each and every person has free will and the future is based on their actions in the now. Anything to do with the future is based on the near future and will most likely happen based on the choices made in the present moment rather than a fixed outcome. The future is forever changeable, depending on the actions we take.
  • I will only do a reading about the client. I will not do third party readings. This means I will not read on what someone else is feeling, thinking, intending, or doing.
  • I will treat all my clients with equal respect, regardless of their origin, race, religion, gender, age, or sexual preference.
  • I will only read for people aged 18 years or older. By requesting a reading I will assume the client is 18 years old. In any event where minors may wish to have a reading, I will require a parental/guardian written consent.
  • I will respect client confidentiality above all else. I will keep confidential the names of clients and all information shared or discussed during readings, unless there is a threat of danger where the client may harm themselves or others, required by a court of law or requested by the client.
  • I am not qualified to give legal, financial, medical or psychiatric advice. I will refer you to seek an appropriate professional for your matter.
  • I reserve the right to refuse any reading request which I the reader am not comfortable with answering.
  • I commit to my self care and always expanding my knowledge and continuing my professional development to provide the best reading I can for my clients.
  • I will respect the client’s choice to terminate the reading at any point during the reading.
